Landing page or website, for a business in São Miguel

In São Miguel the question usually arrives with a tight budget and a date: the season, the opening, the campaign. The choice between one page and a multi-page site depends on what the customer has to understand before they talk to you.
When one page is enough
The Essential Landing Page is one page, from €250, live in 3 to 7 days. I use it when there is one main offer:
- a rental that wants direct enquiries beside Booking;
- a new service that is still being tested;
- a campaign with one button: call, message on WhatsApp, ask for a quote.
The visitor has no menu to get lost in. They read what it is, see the photos, and ask to get in touch.
When the full site pays for itself
The Business Website has 5 to 8 pages, from €900, in 2 to 4 weeks. It makes sense when:
- there are several services and each one needs its own explanation;
- people compare (price, area, the team) before they book;
- Google is a source of enquiries and each service can have its own page;
- the company wants to show the team, the address, and previous work.
A clinic with three specialties is thin on a single page. A restaurant with one menu and a booking can live well on one page, and grow later.
Two decisions I see go wrong
The first is commissioning eight pages while the offer is still changing every week. The site gets big and out of date at the same time.
The second is staying on one page for a year after customers are already asking about services that do not fit on it. The page is not thrown away. The other pages are added.
Four questions before you choose
- Is there one main offer, or several?
- Does the enquiry need to happen this week, or is there a month?
- Does the customer decide in one reading, or do they need to compare?
- Will enquiries come from an ad, or from Google searches through the year?
